Surviving the World’s Strictest High School: My Matter Cup Challenge

Hi, guys! It’s Salish, and today I faced one of the hardest challenges EVER: surviving a full day at the world’s strictest high school!

If you know me, you know I’m always up for a challenge, but this one? Oh. My. Gosh. It was INTENSE.

My dad and I are always competing for the Matter Cup, and he really thought I’d quit this time. But you know me—I don’t give up that easily!

The day started with a strict dress code. No bright colors, no fun accessories, no anything that makes life exciting.

I had to wear this dull, plain uniform that made me feel like I was stepping back into the 1800s. Ugh. But rules are rules, and I wasn’t about to let my dad win this one.

Next came the school’s INSANE rules. Talking? Not allowed. Smiling? Nope. Standing up without permission? Absolutely not. If you’ve seen me on any of my adventures, you know I love talking and joking around, so keeping a straight face was HARD. But guess what? I managed to do it… mostly.

Then there were the classes. Everything was so serious, and the teachers weren’t messing around. At one point, I had to stand in front of the class and solve a math problem with everyone watching.

Talk about PRESSURE. But I crushed it (okay, maybe I got a little help from a classmate, but shhh, don’t tell my dad!).

By lunch, I was starting to feel like maybe—just maybe—I wouldn’t make it. The food was bland, the rules were even stricter in the cafeteria, and honestly, I was so close to quitting.

My dad kept giving me that “I’ve got this in the bag” look, which only made me more determined to stick it out.

Finally, we got to the end of the day, and let me tell you, I was EXHAUSTED.

But I didn’t quit. Nope, not even close! I made it through every class, every rule, and every lecture. My dad was so sure he’d win the Matter Cup this time, but guess what? I DID IT!

So, yeah, surviving the world’s strictest high school wasn’t easy, but proving my dad wrong? Totally worth it. Matter Cup? Still mine, Dad. Better luck next time! 💪
